California Privacy Notice

Effective date: December 23, 2022

This California Privacy Notice (“California Notice”) applies to all stores, websites (“Sites”), and mobile applications (“Apps”) owned or operated by All Saints Retail Limited (“AllSaints”) whereby AllSaints collects the Personal Information (as defined below) of California residents. The Sites and App shall be collectively referred to as the “Services.” This California Notice does not address or apply to our handling of Personal Information that is exempt under the CCPA. In this California Notice, “we”, “our”, and “us” refers to AllSaints, and “you”, “your”, “user” mean uses of the Services.

Please read this California Notice carefully. BY ACCESSING AND/OR USING OUR SITES, VISITING OUR STORES, USING OUR SERVICES, OR COMMUNICATING WITH US IN ANY MANNER, YOU REPRESENT THAT YOU HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS CALIFORNIA NOTICE.

All terms and phrases used herein shall have the same meaning as set forth under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and related regulations (“CCPA”).

Under the CCPA, California residents have the right to receive certain disclosures regarding our processing and sharing of “Personal Information,” as defined under the CCPA, as well as additional information regarding their privacy rights. Under the CCPA, California residents have the following rights (subject to certain limitations):

Right to Know/Access: The right to know what personal information we have collected about you, including the categories of personal information, the categories of sources from which the personal information is collected, the business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing personal information, the categories of third parties to whom we disclose personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you.

Right to Delete: Subject to certain conditions and exceptions, you may have the right to request deletion of Personal Information that we have collected about you.

California consumers who are registered users of the Sites and/or App and under 18 years of age may request the removal of content or information they posted on the site. We will remove such content or information when we are required to do so by law. To request the removal of content or information you posted on the Sites and/or App you may contact us as described below. Please note that even if we remove the content or information that you posted, we cannot prevent further use or disclosure of that content or information by others once you have shared it publicly.

Right to Opt-Out of Sale and Sharing: The right to opt-out of the sale and sharing of your Personal Information.

Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of the rights described in this section.

Right to Correct: The right to correct inaccurate Personal Information that we maintain about you.

Right to Limit: The right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information to those authorized by the CCPA. AllSaints does not collect Sensitive Personal Information, thus this right is not available to California consumers.

While our processing of Personal Information varies based upon our relationship and interactions with you, the table below identifies, generally, the categories of Personal Information (as defined by the CCPA) that we have collected about California residents, as well as the categories of third parties to whom we may disclose this information for a business or commercial purpose.

Protected classifications: We collect some information that is considered a protected classification under California/federal law e.g., your gender, if you choose to share your preference. Advertisers and advertising networks; analytics providers

California privacy laws define a “sale” as disclosing or making available to a third-party Personal Information in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration, and “sharing” broadly includes disclosing or making available Personal Information to a third party for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising. While we do not disclose Personal Information to third parties in exchange for monetary compensation, we may “sell” or “share” (as defined by the CCPA), certain technical information, including IP address, digital identifiers, information about your web browsing and usage of our Services, information about how you interact with our ads, and certain analytic information, with third party data analytics, marketing, and advertising partners. We have no actual knowledge that we sell or share the Personal Information of California residents who are under 16 years of age.

In general, we may collect the categories of Personal Information identified in the table above from the following categories of sources:

  • Directly from individuals
  • Third party cookies, analytics, and marketing partners
  • Vendors and service providers

As described in more detail in our Privacy Policy under the sections titled “Uses Made of the Information” and “Disclosures of Your Information,” we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process the above Personal Information for the following business or commercial purposes and as otherwise directed or consented to by you:

  • Services and support
  • Marketing
  • Tailored advertising and ad effectiveness
  • To influence our product decisions
  • Personalization
  • Responding to inquiries
  • Improving our Services
  • In support of our general business operations
  • Security and protection of rights
  • Legal proceedings and obligations

We retain the Personal Information we collect only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above or otherwise disclosed to you at the time of collection. For example, we will retain your account data for as long as you have an active account with us and data related to your transactions with us for as long as necessary to comply with our tax, accounting and recordkeeping obligations, and to administer applicable returns. We may retain such data for an additional period of time as necessary to protect, defend or establish our rights, defend against potential claims, comply with legal obligations.

We will take steps to verify your request by matching the information provided by you with the information we have in our records. You must complete all required fields in our webform should you choose to submit your request via webform. In some cases, we may request additional information in order to verify your request or, where necessary, to process your request. If we are unable to adequately verify a request, we will notify the requestor.

Requests to Opt Out: our website responds to global privacy control—or “GPC”—signals, which means that if we detect that your browser is communicating a GPC signal, we will process that as a request to opt that particular browser and device out of sales and sharing (i.e., via cookies and tracking tools) on our website. Note that if you come back to our website from a different device or use a different browser on the same device, you will need to opt out (or set GPC for) that browser and device as well. Authorized Agent: You may designate someone as an authorized agent to submit requests and act on your behalf. To do so, you must provide us with written permission to allow the authorized agent to act on your behalf.

Material Terms of Discount Program


AllSaints provides a discount of 15% off full price styles on a customer’s first order in exchange for providing certain Personal Information, such as a user’s e-mail address. The 15% discount only applies to the first purchase made by new subscribers to the AllSaints Newsletter.

Our discount program is based upon our reasonable but sole determination of the estimated value of the Personal Information of California residents provided, which takes into consideration, without limitation, estimates regarding the anticipated revenue generated from such information, the anticipated expenses which might be incurred in the collection, storage, and use of such information in the operation of our business, and other relevant factors related to the estimated value of such information to our business, as permitted under applicable law. Based on this analysis, we value the e-mail address we receive as equivalent to 15% off the average purchase by consumers.

We will obtain your consent before including you in our discount program, and you may opt out of such participation at any time by clicking unsubscribe at the bottom of our emails or by logging into your online account and clicking “Contact preferences” under “Profile Details.”

California Civil Code § 1798.83 permits you to request information regarding the disclosure of your information by us to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Note that our response to these requests will be duplicative of and more limited than its response to Right to Know requests under the CCPA (described above). If you are a California resident under the age of 18, California Business and Professions Code § 22581 permits you to request and obtain removal of content or information you have publicly posted on any of our Sites. To make such a request, please send an email with a detailed description of the specific content or information to ask@allsaints.com with the subject line“CALIFORNIA MINOR CONTENT REMOVAL REQUEST.” Please be aware that such a request does not ensure complete or comprehensive removal of the content or information you have posted and there may be circumstances in which the law does not require or allow removal even if requested.

Under California law, website operators are required to disclose how they respond to web browser “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms that provide consumers the ability to exercise choice regarding the collection of Personal Information of a consumer over time and across third party websites, to the extent the operator engages in that collection. At this time, we do not track our customers’ Personal Information over time and across third-party websites. Further, AllSaints does not knowingly permit third parties to collect Personal Information about an individual consumer’s online activities over time and across different web sites when a consumer uses our Services.

This California Notice is current as of the Effective Date set forth above. We may change this California Notice from time to time, so please be sure to check back periodically. We will post any changes to this California Notice on our Sites and/or Apps.
