Knitwear Care Guide

From how they're made to how they're cared for, there's a lot that goes into our knitwear. Find out where it comes from, and how to keep it looking, and feeling, like new.

Warm, breathable, and easy to care for, our selection of premium wool jumpers, jackets, cardigans and accessories are crafted from recycled fabrics and organic materials.

Using virgin fibres which are separated by hand from the moulting coats of cashmere and pashmina goats, many of our cashmere items have been made using recycled cashmere from Prato, Italy. Great for all year round, they keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer.

Extremely soft and breathable, our merino wool knits are RWS certified. The Responsible Wool Standard is an industry tool that ensure the wool comes from farms where the land has been managed using progressive methods and the sheep have been treated responsibly.

Due to the natural characteristics of this yarn and delicate structure of the knit, we recommend a mild inside-out hand wash in cold water, using a mild soap with low pH, suitable for knitwear. Dry cleaning is optional. Some pilling on the surface of the garment may occur over time. To maintain the appearance of your garment, we recommend gently using a wool comb. Always refer to the garment care label for specific instructions.

Merino Wool is a natural fibre originating from the Merino Sheep. It has high levels of warmth, breathability and is extremely soft against the skin when compared to traditional wool products.

Wool garments, including Merino, can sometimes be dry cleaned, hand or machine washed. Always refer to the care label instructions. If your garment is machine washable, wash it inside out in a laundry bag and make sure you choose a gentle "wool" cycle at 30 degrees or less. Use a mild soap with low pH suitable for knitwear. Due to the natural characteristics of wool some pilling may occur on the surface of the garment over time. To maintain the appearance of your garment, we recommend using a lint roller.
