@ Below Stone Nest, London

Hidden underneath a Grade II listed church in central London lies Below Stone Nest, where our latest Sessions at AllSaints took place. The night saw three unforgettable sets by LEAP, Etta Marcus and Lucia & The Best Boys, hosted by BBC Radio 1 DJ Jack Saunders – all wearing their favourite AllSaints pieces, of course. If you weren’t there, fear not, you can catch our round-up of the night here, plus shop the artists’ edits.

Lucia & The
Best Boys.

Goth-rock meets synth-pop

Born out of Glasgow’s underground punk scene in 2016, Lucia & the Best Boys set the tone for the night with their distinct goth-rock meets synth-pop sound. Frontwoman Lucia Fairfull commandeered the crowd in a sleek all-black look – the Linnie trench coat buttoned-up over our knee-high Odyssey boots – while guitarist Christoper Ballantyne wore the Nellcot leather jacket, Karmi shirt and Lenny jeans.

Etta Marcus.

Ethereal melancholy with grit

Singer-songwriter Etta Marcus glided elegantly onto the stage in the Parachute dress, a reinvention of the iconic design from our AW08 archives, which will be landing as a limited-edition piece onsite soon – keep your eyes peeled. You could hear a pin drop as Etta launched into her signature dream-like melancholy, enchanting the crowd with her honey-smooth voice and emotionally biting lyrics.

LEAP.

High-energy anthemic indie-rock

LEAP describe their shows as ‘communal rock n roll therapy’ and we can see why after 60 minutes of unfiltered energy, poignant lyrics about their own mental health struggles, hard-hitting percussions, and many trips into the crowd. Lead singer and natural-born entertainer Jack Scott looked every inch the rockstar in our Beau sunglasses and Halton leather jacket, stripping off to the Rina tank top in bright green as things heated up.

About
The Night.

The first in our latest series of Sessions at AllSaints was a gathering of music fans, friends of AllSaints, journalists and some lucky competition winners. The intimate setting of subterranean bar Below Stone Nest was the perfect backdrop for the performances, with its moody dim lighting, exposed brick walls, high-vaulted ceilings, and of course, a bar offering a cocktail menu curated especially for the night. A claw machine filled with our AllSaints eau du parfum fragrances was a big hit with the crowd, as was the selfie opp next to the Sessions at AllSaints bulb sign – we loved seeing all your photos the next day.

Stay tuned, more Sessions at AllSaints are around the corner – some in our stores, some in unexpected pop-up locations, and others in iconic music venues. Fancy joining one? Keep an eye on our socials for opportunities to get your name added to the guest list.
