The Orchid Decay top is an oversized shape with dropped shoulders and an asymmetric hem with raw edge finishing. The front and back yoke are silk georgette with the sleeves and body made using a fluid jersey. The Orchid Decay flowers were developed in house; the shapes were inspired by orchid petals and cut in a mixture of silk georgette and crepe de chine. These were pleated and hand sewn in to shape to create a little volume and also washed to give the flowers a decayed crumpled look. This technique was replicated by skilled craftsmen in India.
